Anyone have a Dell Latitude 13 laptop?

Mine vibrates in an annoying way, probably from a fan. Is this normal? I’d like to compare notes with someone else who has one of these.

Not normal, but the fan in a laptop is very small and even a bad one is not likely to cause a vibration. I’d be suspicious of the hard drive, but it’s hard to say without actually having physical access to it.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have a Latitude 13, or are you talking about laptops in general?

Dell laptops (most laptops) only have small and light fans, but they are variable speed, going slowly when the CPU is not generating much heat.
Does the vibration level change as the fan speeds up? if not, it’s the hard disk.
