    Hi all,

Is anyone else seeing any correlation between Outlook version number and the current hassles with trying to authenticate with Exchange Online?

Also of those affected, apparently the web interface works for at least most… anyone know what’s the status with IMAP, EWS or ActiveSync?

Because, well, at least the two at our office with this problem are able to use webmail and IMAP (Thunderbird), and happened to be folks still on the older-style Outlook interface (click-to-run / ProPlus with slower update cycle for whatever reason) but that isn’t much of a sample size…

(Works for me with Outlook 1810 build 11001.20074, though… and EWS, IMAP, ActiveSync and webmail. But it may be a per-user problem anyway…?)

I mean, Microsoft only says to use the webmail as a workaround.

      Was this fixed yesterday?

We’ve had no further reports of users in active reproduction of the issue for service incidents SP152610 and EX152471. We monitored the service for an extended period of time and confirmed impact was remediated on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at 11:00 PM UTC.

We rolled back recent changes that were made in the environment and some customers are reporting that impact has been mitigated for SP152610 and EX152471. The source of the issue remains under investigation. We’ll provide an update on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 1:00 PM UTC.

We’re investigating an issue in which users may be receiving credential prompts when accessing Office apps. Updates on this incident can be found in the admin center under SP152610.

We’re investigating issues related to repeated credential prompts and users being unable to log in using the Outlook client under EX152471. Admins please check the admin center for more details.
