I recently found this community called Postcrossing. Has anyone else found them? I think its a great idea and love getting postcards in the mail, but a friend recently said they thought it would be creepy. Each to their own, I guess.

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

Sounds an excellent way to get on more junk mailing lists than you ever thought possible! Not everyone will be virtuous. (But I might just be cynical…)

“Expensive” is the word that comes to mind.
I did this, oh, a dozen or so years ago.
Did two mail-merges, one for the letters, one for the cards.
HAND-WROTE a personal note on each letter, probably in bed, late at night.
Christmas cards/letters they were.
Stuffed them in envelopes, affixed the correct postage, sent ’em all off.Turned out I’d skipped a letter somewhere. Or a card. Or an envelope.
South Africans got envelopes addressed to Canadians, with only Canadian postage (or, perhaps in some cases, refused to pay the excess).
Some people KNEW the person whose card they’d received, and had a good laugh behind my back before complaining.
Once I was told what I’d done, I cringed in agony for months, trying to recall just HOW initimate were some of the notes . …. -
