Any excuse for a kip in the middle of the day!
Mind you, resisting a nap was the order of the day yesterday with a long day visiting the ‘out stations’ with (as elsewhere explained) extreme temperatures. At least, unlike some of Allan’s colleagues, we have power.

Being retired, I “retire” a couple of times a day, but I’ve never noticed that my intelligence has changed. Of course, one of the negative things about retirement is that you never get a day off.

BTW, I also sometimes take a day nap… maybe that’s something to do with it?

DenGar, I would disagree with you – you get every day off. That is not the problem. The problem is what to do with all these days off. Me, I took up photography as a hobby and find it does give me a few days off, but being digital, I need the “days off” to process the images.
