    A friend has an old Gateway running Windows ME. He had AVG 7.5 but the new version of AVG is not compatible with Windows ME. Is AVAST compatible with ME? Are there any other free antivirus programs that are compatible with Windows ME. Thanks for your help.

      Avast! Home works with all versions of Windows from Windows 95 up (but not the server versions)
