    Hi Everybody

I’ve tried to search for a solution but to no avail.

I have a report which draws its data from a query. The query displays data about tutor group members. At the moment, the report displays one line (one pupil) on each page. What I require is the report to display the data for each tutor group on its own page. I’m sure I’ve done this before but I’ve not played with Access for a while.
    TIA.

      Hi Rob,

In the first place, have you specified a group header for the tutor group field in the Sorting and Grouping window?
If so, you can click on the group header and set the Force New Page property to Before Section.
Make sure that the Force New Page property for the detail section is set to None.

        Hi Hans and thanks

I’ve done as you suggested. Now, only one member from each tutor group is displayed per page. It’s as if it’s not allowing duplicate values of the tutor group. I hope that makes sense.

Could you post a stripped down copy of your database? See post 401925 for instructions.

            Hi Hans

Sorry about the delay. I’ve attached a stripped down version for your delectation.
            TIA.

              Hi Rob,

You have placed the text boxes in the group header. If you place them in the Detail section instead, you’ll get the effect you want. See attached version.

Thanks so much, Hans. I can’t imagine what I was thinking, or even think what I was imagining. grin
