I work with a high res monitor. I’ve been able to browse to a larger insertion point using the mouse aplet. But I’d also like to use the animated hourglass for waiting and busy. the current offering is too small. Is there some way that I can change the size of just the animated hourglass?

Yes, but what operating system do you want the instructions for?

          Hi Rick
Open Control panel and click on Mouse. There should be a tab labelled Pointers. Click it and your present cursors should be listed. You can change them one by one, or the whole lot. This uses a folder in your Windows directory called Cursors, into which you just make sure you have the ones you need.
Once you have them as you want, save your scheme.

            Merc,

Thanks for the lead. I’ve already been to the cursors folder and seen what’s there. I’d like to get a larger animated hourglass and all that is available is the smaller version. Is there a way to increase the size of the small animated hourglass and make it 4X its regular size?

              Hi Rick
If you check out an FTP site such as Nonags, there are hundreds of cursor collections available. I seem to remember even Windows had an enlarged suite for visually challenged users. I’m sure you’ll find something there to your liking. I take my main cursor from a set called Big Red, as the animated large red arrow-head is very easy to see, especially with the Shadow option turned on in Win 2kP.
