I could swear I used to do this in years past, but now I can’t figure it out. I have a column chart with 3 series of data. I’ve got it in a 3D chart and rotated the 3-D view a bit. I want each series to appear one at a time, rising UP from the bottom. When I put an animation on the chart, however, the only one that allows me to animate each SERIES separately is ‘Blinds’. The other entrance effects that I’ve tried only let me animate the entire chart at once. Is there some way to do this? It was a very effective presentation method.
Also, the way I remember it, I was able to reverse the order, so that the back row (series 3) appeared first, followed by series 2, then series 1. Even when I get the option to animate all 3 series with the Blinds entrance, I can only get it to go in 1-2-3 order. I’d like to reverse that because the front series can sometimes partially block the series in the back.
Has this capability been taken out of Office 2003?
