AMD system being offered Intel microcode update KB4090007

Hi guys, I run an ooold AMD system, but I’m being offered KB4090007 which appears to be Intel microcode.

Should I just hide it, or does it contain “stuff” my AMD machine would actually need?

I would hide it. The microcode have caused problems and there are no exploits in the wild at this point.

Marginally related, I’m also being offered KB4467686 which says it’s the November Cumulative update, but I can’t see any mention of it on AskWoody. Any thought?

That is the Nov Cumulative update for 1709. You are not seeing much about it if it is not causing problems because we are at DEFCON 2, which means we are not considering installation of Nov updates at this point. We’re waiting for any trouble reports.

There is a topic on Nov Updates here, but the big focus this month is on 1809, not 1709.
