Big Amazon Prime user, but so far haven’t found a good reason to purchase a Echo or similar device. I can see a point when I do decide to replace my kitchen radio that this might be a good option. Being somewhat a Apple fan, I still think Apple’s forthcoming Home device is too expensive to get many takers. Amazon seems to understand the price point better people are willing to pay for these devices. Google’s Home is another great option if your all in on Google services.

Now if they made a robot that cleaned and did housekeeping, I’d buy it if I could afford it.  Maybe they could call it Rosie?

Trouble is, “Rosie” would scan your whole house for dirty/messy areas and send a report to Big Brother Mother. While at it, she would keep an eye out for dirty magazines and dangerous books, and send THAT information to Big Brother.

I’d only buy Rosie if she had NO Internet connectivity at all.

My Rosie would only have a plug to recharge, and a USB connection for program changes, etc.  No internet would get near it!
