I’ve got Visio 4. puke Does anyone know of a way to view newer visio files with this program? Or is it essentially worthless?

    Thanks!

Not unless you upgrade your Visio to the latest and greatest version. Unfortunately somewhere along the way, I’m guessing the file format changed. This is no Visio Viewer that I know of.

There used to be one, clear up to Version 5.0, that you could download from the website, but I haven’t seen anything about it since 2000 came out.

Well, if anyone spots it, please let me know!

Have you tried inserting the drawing into a Word doc? Or even inserting a screen shot of it, if you’re desparate?

That was the plan.. to insert it into word.. No, I didn’t try inserting it FROM word…

Just did, no go.. Looks like the program appendices for Visio are old as well…

I can’t get a screen print unless I can view it on the screen.. sigh

According to the Unofficial Visio FAQ, no free viewer is available.

That seems to be the consensus… sad
