OK. This one I checked out myself!

A secretary has full permissions on the Contacts folders of two other users. In the Address Card view in her own Contacts folder and one of the others (folder A), she can start typing “Smi” and in both folders it will find the card for “Smith.” In the third folder (folder , she starts typing the name for which she is searching, and either nothing happens or the cursor disappears and she needs to end the task. I tried the same search method on my own folder and another to which I have access, and had no problems on either.

Has anyone run into this before, or does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

We figured it out. On our system we have two different mailbox stores. The secretary and her attorney were on separate stores. When we moved one so that they were on the same store, the problem went away. Just in case any of you run into the same issue, I thought this might be useful.
