Aligning various table edges nicely against page border
One thing that always drives me out of my skull is trying to align various tables together.

      Arage,

Not sure if there is any reliable automatic way to do this (since individual tables can have different types of settings such as AutoFit to Window).

What I’d try is first to ensure that text boundaries are set to show, zoom the document window up to something like 200-300% and scroll to the right of the page so I can see the right-hand edge of the tables as well as the right-hand text boundary for the page.
When clicking and dragging in the ruler to adjust the location of the right-hand edge of a table, first hold down the Alt key – this will unlock the ‘snap to grid’ feature in the ruler, allowing you to drag with a much finer increment.
Additionally, when you do drag the table border, look at the vertical dashed line that comes out above and below the table you currently are working with – drag the border until you get the dashed line to line up perfectly with the right-hand edge of the other table you are trying to align to.
Repeating these steps should enable you to get all of the tables aligned quite well.
