Am looking for simple, simple. No bells, no whistles. Just be able to set a time for alarm to go off. Don’t need multiple timers, don’t need music played.
Can’t find anything simple on Net. Any ideas? Thank yhou

I use UK’s Kalender for all my reminders. May be a bit of overkill for you.
cheers, Paul
I found a real simple one on this Autohotkey forum. I already have Autohotkey installed so it was just a case of copying and pasting the code into Notepad and then save the file as alarmclock.ahk. When I ran the code it produced a very clean, very simple interface:
37838-alarmclock

All I had to do was to point it to a .WAV (or .MP3) file and clicck on the “Set Alarm” button to set the time.
The program includes an icon in the Notification Area which, when right-clicked on, pops up the following dialog:
37839-alarmclock1
PS – The script was obviously written for Windows XP. To get the Volume control to work in Windows 7, just change line 218 from Run, sndvol32.exe to Run, sndvol.exe.
Hope this helps…
I’ve used ATNotes for many years and love it. It’s free, easy to use, and is much more than just an alarm. Check it out here:

It was discontinued in 2005, but is still available for download and the help files are very good.
Oops, just realized that you’ve already found something. Oh well, maybe someone else can use the info.
