I’ve used Belarc Advisor for some time, but have just discovered Aida32, a freeware program that provides even more comprehensive system and software information. Available at http://www.aida32.hu/aida-features.php?bit=32%5B/url%5D .

You must be on the TUDOGS mailing list, huh? I just heard about it this morning from them also.

Actually, no. I found it at http://www.voodoofiles.com/8476%5B/url%5D. Curious coincidence.

Well, it puts out a TON of data. I haven’t yet made it through reading it all. The guys at TUDOGS said an “80 page report,” so I saved it to an HTML file so I wouldn’t waste that much paper. Like the man said, Belarc is great too, but it sure doesn’t hurt to keep more than one of these kinds of tools around.

What amazes me is to see how MANY .dll files there are!

      I just had a look at Aida32.

Great tool. But Belarc gives more details about the installed software than Aida32.

That being said, I think I’ll keep both of these programs around.

      Different Tools for different jobs.

      Thanks.
