Was listening to the radio the other day when this exact
topic was being discussed and examples of recorded scammers
were broadcast. The AI does a brilliant job frustrating the scammer
with all the realism of an illiterate PC user.
The frustration, strained voice of the scammer losing the plot still makes me laugh.. The AI voice was so realistic over the phone.
Funnily enough, the accent of the scammer was of asian dialect…where a lot of call centres are situated these days.
Bring on the AI telephone answering machine!

I assume “O2” is referring to the mobile network in the U.K.?

Even astrophysicist Carl Sagan when speaking astronomically used Billions, not Trillions.

I find the entire concept absolutely hilarious! Let’s see just how long this continues, or if it even gets expanded to include more telephony providers in different parts of the world!
