After Update event (Access 2000)

In my continous form if i put an AfterUpdate event , i cannot go down to update the other rows. When i remove the AfterUpdate event, then i can do it. What is the reason for that ?

Thank you for the replies.Do apologize me for the omission.I took note of your advice and i have done the calculation in the query.So i solved the problem but thank you for the attention and the helpful advie

Can you tell us what your After Update code is? Do you modify the record in this code? You shouldn’t do that, use the Before Update event if you want to modify the record.

yes, unfortunately thats exactly what i am trying to do, to modify the record. But i am sure you will find the solution
