I’m looking for a piece of software that will be executed on shutdown.
I would like the software to be able to run batch files on shutdown when i click on the shutdown button.

    I have a windows 7 64 bit home premium windows 7.
Any software advice would be greatfull
    thanks

What you need is a Logoff Script or a Shutdown Script (Google…) but since you have Home Premium you don’t have the policy editor GPEDIT.MSC usually needed to set one up.

See if this thread does anything for you. I can’t vouch for it because I don’t use Home Premium!
Here’s another one on Shutdown Scripts...

      BATcher

Plethora means a lot to me.

I have approached this need by using a scripting program call AutoHotkey. This allows me to allocate a Windows key (I used Win-X) to shutdown. The AutoHotkey script associated with this key can first call the pre-shutdown software, then call the AutoHotkey Shutdown function.

AutoHotkey is easy to use, and can provide a wide range of other useful functions.

AutoHot Key has loads of potential that i could use. Thanks for recommending it to me.
The only problem is that I’m having a hard trouble coding it.

I’m trying to, when i press (Win-X) it will run a script batch.
Or if i shutdown the script will run.

If you could help that would be great.
