after hard shutdown volume control, battery icons missing from taskbar

Hi again,

Last night I asked for help with the keys on my keyboard clicking but not functioning. A helpful person here suggested a hard shutdown. This was immediately successful! I was at a zoom conference for much of the day, and the volume control in the zoom window worked fine. However, later I realized that the icon for volume control is now missing from my taskbar. I also lost the MSE and battery tray icons. It would  be nice to get these back too. The internet access icon and date and time remainss, also the start button and Windows Explorer icon remain on the left side.

Expand the “hidden” taskbar icons by clicking on the double chevron just to the left of the existing icons to see if they’re visible there?

If so, simple drag & drop them onto the taskbar in the location where you want them to appear.

Hi All,

To bring back the icons all I had to do was restart twice. Amazingly easy. Thanks for suggestions.
