    Adobe Releases Security Updates
    https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/current-activity/2017/08/08/Adobe-Releases-Security-Updates

Original release date: August 08, 2017

Adobe has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player, Acrobat, Reader, Experience Manager, and Digital Editions. Exploitation of some of these vulnerabilities may allow a remote attacker to take control of an affected system.

US-CERT encourages users and administrators to review Adobe Security Bulletins APSB17-23 (link is external), APSB17-24 (link is external), APSB17-26 (link is external), and APSB17-27 (link is external) and apply the necessary updates.

With the most recent Flash release from Adobe for Windows (Version 27.0.0.130), I found that the settings in the control panel applet do not stick.

Under storage, for years I have set it to “Block all sites from storing info on this computer.”
Under the Camera and Microphone (I have neither on the desktop) tab and under the Playback (P2P) tab, I have always set both to it to “Block all sites…”.

I now find that whenever I go in to check the version, it has reset itself to allow all three. This never happened before Version 27.0.0.130.

I have Flash set on Firefox to off and always ask to activate on specific sites. I have to test if the FF setting also overrides the IE11 setting. I know it never did before.

I can hardly wait for the end of Flash.
