I have a form with subform. The most frequent changes will be additions of new records to the subform. I want to be able to use a shortcut key to automatically start a new record. Currently the subform is set up as a datasheet. So putting a command button and a accelerator key doesn’t appear to be the best option. I have limited coding skills, but I am learning. Can anyone point me in the right direction. What works the easiest and cleanest? Thanks!

I think what I need to know is how to do SetFocus to the subform while on the subform. Thanks

I knew there was a reason to have bought all of these Access books. I finally got it to work.
The main part of the deal is
frmServices.Setfocus (This changed me from the main to subform)
        DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec

Life is grand when you figure something out that you thought you would never do!!!

Thanks for looking at the messages. Fay
