Add Historical Data to Chart (Excel 2003)

My chart shows data from the current year, but I would like to imprint the historical data from last year as well. Can anyone think of a way to dynamically show the values for 2006 on top of or next to 2007’s points? Maybe I just need to restructure the worksheet’s layout??

See if the attached does what you want. I used the offset function to duplicate last year’s data to the right of this year’s data, and added new series. You have to fiddle a lot to get it right – Excel messes up the chart types and assignment to the primary/secondary axis.
