Anyone know the Active Doc’s, add-in software for Word, web site?

    Thanks,

OK, Al. I must be missing something in my browser. If I type activedoc, I get “page can’t be displayed”.

What else did you do, or what version do you have?

Thanks, Al. I’ll try it when I get home. Here at work, I can’t seem to get anything. Could be the way the administrator has configured it, I guess.

I did understand that you typed “activedoc” without quotes & that you got a search page. I don’t get a search page.

I got it too. I just typed the word activedoc and it went to http://auto.search.msn.com/results.asp?FOR…h=5&q=activedoc with a bunch of hits. MSIE 5.0. Phil, you could use that url if you don’t want to wait.

Thanks, Wendy. I must have a different setting somewhere in Options. Typing “activedoc” doesn’t bring me to a search screen. It’s probably some modification that I made & forgot about.

Yes, I turned off “search from address line” because if I mistype something, I just want to correct it and not be over at the MSN search engine. I think the only cool thing I’m missing out on is the KB number shortcut.

              Hi Jefferson:

I didn’t think I disabled the option. I selected “just display the results in the main window”. Nevertheless, it doesn’t seem to work.
