AskWoody LoungerFebruary 23, 2008 at 1:56 am #1098788Well, I just tried it and they sent me a key and a password. Now, I’m trying to find version 8. lol More later. I’m in bed fighting the flu.
Ok. update
Follow the link above. Register, they will email your key but make a note of your account password that is only displayed on the webpage. At the Acronis site login to your account (with the info you entered when you registered and the password they gave you). You can change your password at the profile page. You should find a screen that shows a list of Acronis registered products. Click that link and in the box that pops up you will find a link that allows you to download the product. AskWoody LoungerFebruary 23, 2008 at 12:48 pm #1098808I’m glad you cleared that up. Thanks for the post. Your account of what you experienced is Acronis’ standard procedure when you first “join up” and create an account.
Unfortunately, my attempt to test this water has so far failed. I’ve discovered a problem with my email server and I’m not receiving incoming emails. I have two in process that I should’ve received – this one and a software app from another thread. Oh well, my HostOnce friends will fix it for me some time, I’m sure…
