    How does one tell if they’re in ACPI or Standard PC mode?

      A quick glance in Device Manager is usually sufficient. (Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager)

        (I only have ACPI Fixed Feature Button & ACPI Power Button. That’s not a problem, is it ?)
        I also noticed (in Device Manager), under *Computer* I have ACPI Uniproccesor PC.
