Can anyone tell me what the program Rnaapp is? It is listed in the CLOSE PROGRAM window after pressing CRTL – ALT & DEL. A friend was closing all of the programs in order to run SCANDISK without anything running in the background. When he selected Rnaapp and clicked on END TASK – his computer froze and he had to resort to shutting it off at the power button. Any idea why the computer would freeze while trying to end this task?

Rnaapp is loaded by dial up networking. After you close the connection, it can stay loaded for about 15 minutes or so, it supposedly helps you reconnect quicker while it is loaded.
I have end tasked this program before, without freezing. It might of been just a one time thing for you.

I’ve ocassionally (rarely) had a crash by ending Rnaapp (Remote Network Access Application). Not sure what causes it though. I wouldn’t worry unless it gets frequent.
