I want to send a report via email – other reports i send successfully as Rich Text Format. My prblem involves the borders and shading that is necessary for my report to work. When my emailed form is received the boxes, borders and shadings have disappeared… and I need them!
Is there a way around this? hairout (no joke, I’m running out of hair!)

    Many thanks,
    Geoff P

The only way to have graphics, is to save the report as snapshot or if you have Adobe Distiller, to a pdf file.
The snapshot viewer is available at Microsoft Snapshot Viewer Available in Download Center (Q175274)

      Geoff,

Francois is pointing you in the right direction. The Snapshot Viewer will work – if your users don’t need to edit anything. Microsoft’s Snapshot Viewer makes a read-only, printable version of your report. When you use the viewer, you can zoom the file and print it. That’s about it.

Both you and your users need to install the Snapshot Viewer.

The Snapshot Viewer is available here. Though advertised for Access 2000, this viewer also works for Access 97.

      HTH,

      Tom

Many thanks to you all for the replies, now I have to see if the IT Dept will allow the software installation.

Just a quicky to the moderators of this lounge… Thankyou for being here for me. I got an answer from you members much quicker than from my IT department!!!
