Is there a way to access email in Outlook Exp. (OE) from another computer on a local network?

The OE resides on the most heavily used computer on our network, and I am wondering how to be able to check for email from one of the other computers. Are there permissions or other setting that are necessary to do this?

    Thanks in advance!

OE is not network aware nor sharable. You’d have to move the whole installation to another PC if you are concerned with the PC usage.

You can use a product such as Ultra VNC : Remote Support Software, Remote Support tool, Remote Desktop Control, Remote Access Software, PC Remote Control[/url] or some other VNC product to view the desktop where OE is installed.

Most providers offer webmail functionality nowadays. If you just want to be able to check for new email from another computer, than the use of webmail is probably the easiest way to accomplish this. All you need is a system with access to the internet and a fairly recent browser, the link to your provider’s webmail and of course the credentials needed to log in to your mailbox.
