    File server is Windows 2003
Work stations are a mix of Windows 98 to Windows XP
    12 Workstations:
I developed a rather large access database for a law firm. They’ve been using it for a year now and we compress it on a regular basis. The tables are in the “back end” on the file server and the workstations each have their own front end.
Problem: Twice this week there seems to have been some sort of database corruption in the back end. When the workstations try to access the tables they get an error message. After we repair the back end it’s fine. This has happened twice in the past week.
Any ideas what’s happening here? confused3

      Hi Charlotte,

I have recently experienced the same sort of problems. Checking the current Jet service pack and ensuring that everyone is using the same helped to resolve this issue for us. See my thread starting post 375761 for full details.

      Hope this helps
