    Does anyone have any book recommendations for an Access newbie? TIA

      You might try “Running MIcrosoft Access {version}” by John Viescas.

      Exam Prep for Access 2000 by Coriolis is a good one. It covers the basics.

      If you are starting totally from scratch, I recommend one of the “access in 24 hours” type books.
