• Access 2010 alignment quirk?

I have several controls in a vertical column that I wanted to space equally. From Access 2003, the menu key sequence was ALT-O-V-E.

In Access 2010, you can generally use this key sequence or from the Arrange tab you can select Size/Space and then Equal Vertical.

However! It appears that this doesn’t work if the controls are on a tab page (this is the quirk). Neither the key sequence nor the selection from the Ribbon seems to work. And neither do the comparable Increase Vertical and Decrease Vertical.

    Anyone else have this problem?

      Hi Mark,

Yes, this is a known issue in Access 2010 and affects trying to use those specific sizing/spacing commands with controls placed on tab controls.

We have an existing bug in our system tracking this issue. I do not, however, know what the final outcome of this bug will be.

Thanks for reporting the issue; I’ll add your additional information to the bug.
