Is there a way to export a report with Access runtime 2003?
All I get is the option to print. I need to send the report through email.
    Thanks,
    Deb

I don’t have much experience with the 2003 runtime, but with the 2007 runtime I have to create a custom toolbar or custom right-click menu in order to get those options on a report print preview.

      Can you explain more?

Are you adding options to a toolbar that will allow me to send it to a .snp or .pdf format?

Sorry – away from the office for several hours. I was presuming that you don’t get the SendTo command in the right-click menu on the print preview… or do you get a right-click menu at all in your runtime version? And unless you use some fairly sophisticated code to export to PDF, that’s not an option in 2003 (it is in 2007, but not in the run-time that I know of). The SendTo command normally invokes you email editor and attaches an RFT version of the report to the email – which isn’t always pretty – any graphics are gone, and spacing and such is not all that well behaved. If you want to get into code, you could use Automation to create the email and attach a .SNP file, but that requires that the recipient have the SNP reader.

See Access 2007 email report… for some discussion on a similar topic.
