Upgraded Office 97 to Office 2000. Now I can’t access my Client db, Access tells me to save a copy of the database before I convert it. Done that, then A2000 tells me that there is a problem with a form and another problem with some vba. I need to get at my db soonest so, I uninstalled O2000 and reinstalled O97. All components – apart from Access run OK. Access gives the message “Microsoft Access can’t start because there is no licence for this machine”

I vaguely remember seeing something about this – can anybody assist me please?

    Thanks in advance.

Many thanks indeed, your link to the Kb article was spot on. I’ve downloaded the AcLicn97.exe and everything is now working properly.
        Your help is particulary welcomed.
