Please, I am confused. I’ve just put my Access 2000 database up over the network – NT4. I have set the permissions of the tables so that there are some tables and forms which only one group have any permissions for the rest of the users – in a different group dont have any access to these. I put the database up and connected to the workgroup via the shorcut. However when anyone of the users who should not have any permissions for these forms opens the database the permissions of the database file on the network changes and adds that person and gives them full control, giving them access to the tables and forms which they shouldn’t have any access to.
