This marks a “turning point” in the place that many of us have considered our Internet “Home” for many, many years!

What WE knew as The Lounge starts anew today and I for one hope we can keep alive the tradition started by “MUM” oh so many years ago.

Good luck to us all and the (expected) influx of a gazillion new members in the coming weeks…

Lizards age faster than humans (or badgers)

Oh great, so if he grows just a wee bit more, he’ll be able to fit into Daddy’s t-shirt

Now that the T-shirt question is answered; returning to the main topic; it must be the first time we are ín beta (for a very long time).

Maybe it’s the T-shirt that was in Beta, since he now seems to have a new one!

Well then the beta would be removed.

I noticed the change after a refresh and I as well noticed your post in the Suggestion box; but actually I don’t care about the T-shirt at the moment, I don’t think that was the purpose of Al’s post.

It remains to be seen how this new “lounge” is kept – messy or shipshape. I really do miss the “hard to manage” lounge that came before these last two changes. I realize that it was very hard to maintain, and it couldn’t be searched very well, etc. but it was welcoming. I am still really trying to get used to this one. I’m glad a lot of the familiar faces are still here. That helps! I appreciate their dedication and the friendship!

I really hope that Lex stays on. There is just something weird about having a kid lizard named Wiz …….. But that’s just my

Just for you, skitterbug, a snapshot from the last day (but I guess that you have several threads etc. saved).

(And since I guess that someone will mention the flags; as I understand it, this (the national holiday banner line) was uniquely, due to the hard work that Claude did. In the example; 23 February: Brunei National Day and Guyana Mashramani-Republic Day.)

              A do help a lot.

Well said Skitterbug. I too have appreciated the dedication and friendship of the moguls that run the lounge. I do hope the spirit of the lounge is not lost.

              Best regards,
              Slim
