    This one’s a real stumper….

A client has my creating a lengthy user manual for a product of theirs, complete with four appendices.

    For theese, I want the page numbering in the footer to be A – 1…A – 12, B – 1…B – 6, and so forth.

This I can “fudge,” but I’m not happy with the result vis-a-vis the TOC.

Just like the regular chapter entries in the TOC with functional hyperlinks, I want the users of this doc to be able to click hyperlinked appendix entries and be taken to the respective page.

I’ve been experimenting like crazy with things like SEQ /c and such, but without much in the way of success.

Does anyone have a way to make this work, where the footer page numbering is linked with TOC entries?
