    Paid tools:

    Start11 – brings back 10, 8.1 or 7 start menu

    Free hacks:

Move the menu bar back to the left:

    Open the Settings pane
Select Personalization from the left pane.
Look for the Taskbar option in the right pane and click on it.
Locate the Taskbar behaviors option and click to expand it.
Click on the down arrow after the Taskbar alignment option.
Select Left (instead of Center) from the drop-down menu.

Open Shell – still works to bring back the classic menu

Registry key to bring back classic file explorer

Wouldn’t “Winaero Tweaker”, with its myriad of tweaks, fit in this list?

      1 Desktop Win 11
      1 Laptop Win 10
Both tweaked to look, behave and feel like Windows 95
(except for the marine blue desktop, rgb(0, 3, 98)

I would think so. I’ve been using Winaero Tweaker for years on various versions of Windows.
I also use Start 10 and Start 8 on my older Windows 8 Pro computer.

On Windows 8 Pro, it updates Windows Defender automatically each morning while I have Windows Updates disabled by Winaero Tweaker. But Windows 10 is a different story. Each morning I have to uncheck the box in Tweaker that disables Windows Updates and then manually update Defender and recheck the box in Tweaker to again disable Windows Updates. A bit of a hassle but I still love Tweaker.
