      My 14″ Chromebook runs Play store Android and Excel full screen. I do not have an Office 365 subscription. I wonder how inconsistently the MS Office Android apps run on Chromebooks.

      There is yet another way too. Codeweavers makes Crossover for running Windows software on other OSs. Their Windows on Android is in beta and it runs on a Chromebook.

      Then again, it has been in beta for a very long time. Perhaps abandoned?

      So I’m hearing from my SMB consultant crowd that it’s getting harder to purchase Chromebooks.  With schools going online and kids needing technology, many school districts are buying lots and lots of chromebooks.

        It was indeed very hard to get a Chromebook roughly a month or two ago. However, this is no longer true. Supply now seems plentiful.
