    Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right site to post this article.

Has anyone heard, own or have any information about this $35 Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player

I found the information at this site http://dealnews.com/803883.html.

Interesting article but how does it work and what else would be needed to use it? What would it save if anything?
what kind of internet connection do you need? or do you?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Glendad:confused:

If it was a local and network media access device as well, that would be cool. One can get a WD Live streaming and network player for about $100 on sale (no local storage model) that’s far more capable and doesn’t depend on a USB port that’s close enough to be used for power or an expensive device for remote control.
