Because Microsoft has announced that 22H2 is the ‘last feature update’ for Win10, I am assuming it is now safe to  release control since I am on that version now.

    OR

Do I just leave alone ( in control) as I suspect this won’t cause any harm.

    Cheers

If your computer meets Microsoft’s criteria for Windows 11 and you don’t want it, then keep In Control. Alternatively if you have Win 10 Pro, you can anchor your machine to “Windows 10” without a version number and that will block Windows 11. In Control is the simplest.

      Desktop Asus TUF X299 Mark 1, CPU: Intel Core i7-7820X Skylake-X 8-Core 3.6 GHz, RAM: 32GB, GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. Display: Four 27" 1080p screens 2 over 2 quad.

Is your computer Windows 11 incompatible?  If it is compatible Windows 11 might be offered.

Sorry, it is incompatible with Win11.

InControl, as far as I’m concerned, is no longer of any use IF the device isn’t Windows 11 compatible. Windows 10 won’t be getting anymore feature upgrades so, it’s as much good as a chocolate heatsink 🙂

So in other words, it’s a “moot point” (or in simpler words, “does not matter”) about Win10 22H2 and the InControl app if OP’s computer is not Win11 compatible.
