    Hi
Just purchased a laptop with Windows 7 to replace my old desktop. I am installing my old compatable and new software a bit at a time. To spread costs over a few months I purchased and installed MS Office Home & Student 2010 with a view to purchasing Outlook 2010 later. Unknown to me a 30 day trial version was installed and I do not know how to either un-install it or whether to purchase a download of the full version and how to install this. When I went to this link http://tinyurl.com/7z3p49x the answer pointed to another link and I was confused even more. This gives conflicting suggestions. If I go to un-install program I can only see my purchase of Office. I really only want to install new software without hastle. I thought I could purchase a key, enter this somewhere and any settings I had used during the trial would be saved. What notification actually comes up, if any, at the end of the trial period?
What are my options? Any help appreciated, thanks.

It does seem a little convoluted, because there’s apparently no option to upgrade the trial, but if you have instructions in those links to remove the trial and purchase/install the full version, where’s the conflict? Did you click Remove Trial?

Thank Bruce. I went to my Word 2010 / File/ Help and it shows that my product MS Office Home & Student is activated but also that there was a trial product of MS Office Professional 2010 with all its softare, and I thought it had only installed a trial of Outlook 2010 – what an eye opener. The option is to purchase the full product or uninstall. So it looks like I shall have to use the trial Office Pro with Outlook temporarly until I can afford the stand alone version, uninstall the Pro and start over again fixing my settings. I am still unable to find the offce pro in the uninstall program list – only Microsoft Office click to run 2010 (whatever that is ) and my MS Office Home & Student 2010. Under 4 in the instructions to uninstall trial program there is no Trial Product or Licencing Operations shown.
