I currently own MS Office 2000 Professional Edition and need to make runtime versions of an application that I developed. I think that the way to do this is to purchase the Office 2000 Developers Tool Kit. Can’t find it on the web, got the long run-around to nowhere from Microsoft and don’t know where to look next.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

One of Microsoft’s suggestions was to buy the Office XP Developers Tool Kit. They said it would work for both Access 2000 or Access XP, but I am hesistant. Does anyone have experience with this idea?

It’s pretty difficult to buy the Developers Tools once the Office version is no longer available from Microsoft, which is the situation you’re in. Usually, you have to try the various web auction sites, etc. The XP tools should work against 2000, since both versions are based on VB6, but you could also run into a problem with the updated vbe6.dll that Office XP installs and that might be installed/required with the XP Developer tools.
