      Addresses an issue that causes stop error 0x7E in nwifi.sys when you attempt to use a Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 (WPA3) connection. This issue occurs after installing KB4598298 or KB4601315.

      So KB4601315 was pulled because of that 😀

      After installing this update … Windows Update is not displaying correctly (no time of last check, no green check mark … but clicking ‘Check for Updates’ does seem to trigged a check):

      Opening the main setting screen … on the top bar, it does accurately show how long ago I checked for updates, but display is def not correct.

        I’m having the same thing as well after updating KB5001028 this morning. Doesn’t display the time or last check and/or the green tick in the Windows Update, and clicking the Check for Updates kinda causes a glitch but otherwise it did proceed checking for updates. The top bar of the main setting screen does show how long it was last checked for updates. I tried restarting my laptop but it still shows up the same issue

        I believe this recent update is causing this glitch to the Windows Update feature in the main setting. I don’t know whether or not I should uninstall it to resolve this glitch issue

        I’m using Windows 10 Home edition. The OS Build is now 18363.1379 thanks to this recent update

          I’m on pro … but same thing. Good to know it’s ‘not me.’ I will wait for MS to fix vs. uninstalling the KB unless I find other things amiss/wonky. This seems to be cosmetic (at first glance)

            I was kinda freaking out after seeing this issue but I’m glad I’m not the only one. But yes, this is definitely a glitch issue to this recent update. I might as well wait for other users to see if they also have the same issue and whether or not if there’s a way to fix this or wait for a new update?

        And like magic – with no obvious updates pushed or manually installed – this morning WU looks and behaves normally. (I power down at night, and cold boot each morning – fast boot is disabled.)

        I’m guessing some sort of MS server-side voodoo ..

        • #2343078

          I turned off my laptop for most of the day and overnight, and by the time I turn it back on this morning, it went back to normal. It’s a bit buggy every time I open the main setting to go to Windows Update but it’s all good now (^~^)b

      I’m unsure if this requires a Pause Updates resume or just goes around that like the Defender Updates! But really I’m on a Windows 10 1909/Home Linux Mint 20.0 dual boot configured laptop and I usually only go online mostly when booted into Mint anyways. So all this should show up in the March 2021 cumulative updates as I usually only apply the current month’s patches right before the next month’s patches are set to be pushed out. And I like to let my pause updates deadline naturally expire unless that’s already set to expire after the following month’s patches are scheduled to drop.

      But I’m going to let any issues get cleared up and that Pause Updates is invaluable there and having that Linux Mint 20 in dual boot configuration on my laptop allows me to, if needed, just skip that a while longer if there are still buggy patches that need re-patching on Windows 10!

      Same issue here as others are saying, when I check the WU panel it no longer shows the last time and date when checked, this is what I’m seeing now;

      had the same issue of not seeing the date and time of last scan, but now after a couple of restarts everything is back to normal
