Details are sparse, but it appears that the folks at 0patch were told of a significant bug in Zoom, the online conferencing app that’s become wildly p

Another instance where Windows 10 is more secure than Windows 7.

The guest must be a newbie to this site.  W10 constantly has problems.  Each version has it’s own problems popping up all the time.

Windows 10 will never reach Windows 7’s security levels.
Just count the security bugs in W7 vs W10 since Jan. 2020.

Windows 7 has been out of development for seven years, so it’s not likely to require as many bug fixes.

I think the 5 years (July 15, 2015) of beta testing Windows 10 is enough to fix all bugs.

Good work indeed, especially by 0Patch.!
Thereagain, given this article over at borncity I’d be hesitant to install any of the following: Microsoft Teams and Skype, Zoom, Google Meet etc..more listed within the article.

I’ve been using 0patch Pro since December, on my Windows 7 workstation. It’s been great so far. 0patch folks do nice work.

Same here 0patch Pro works great  on my W7 Home Premium.  Be interesting comparing  MS ,ESU to 0patch Pro and the differences.

      • #2279597

No comparison. 0Patch fixes 3rd party software too and is first to patch 0-day bugs in W7.
        0Patch subscription is ~$90 for 3 years vs $420 for Microsoft’s ESU.

Kudos to 0patch! Know the requirements, detect a problem, devise a solution, test, implement, measure results…then lather, rinse and repeat. When people have a purpose remarkable things can happen. Otherwise…?
