After many futile attempts and with excellent support from Microsoft I was able to sync. The key was to set up a new profile in OL and copy my data into it. Now, but my Calender and Contacts sync fine, BUT my Tasks don’t sync at all.
I have read that a workaround is to set up a gmail account and calender, but I’d rather not do that unless it’s the only way.
