Can someone help someone from “across the pond”?

      How does one pronounce Cwmbran?

      -Cellmate

Cwmbran is a Welsh name; the w is pronounced in Welsh as “oo”, so “Coombran”.

      Ahhh. Thanks, Hans.

I did recognoze the Welsh bit, but I didn’t know there was a language that
      pronounced the “W” as a “double-u”!

      Let’s see: Oo-elsh. That works!

OK, but… “Welsh” in the Welsh language itself is “Cymraeg”.
