As a “convert” from **long-time** Mac use, I miss two utilities that I was used to having. #1 was the “double arrow” for the scroll bar. With all the various panels in programs like Fireworks, DreamWeaver, PageMaker, etc. the scroll arrow is often hidden behind a panel. But seldom are BOTH arrows hidden, so with the double arrow it was easy to move the page around. Don’t know what to call it for the PC — haven’t found something like this on Tucows or Shareware or CNET.
#2 is Toner Tuner (from Working Software) which lets me adjust the density of the toner on my LaserWriter — almost always I print pages 9that I’m saving for me) AT 65%, which makes my toner cartridge last a long time. But this program isn’t even being upgraded for OS X-Mac, and will never be written for the PC (according to the author.) Is there a program like this for the PC or am I missing something simple built into Windows?
BTW, I would like to have a flag or two to add to my signature — where do I find them?

    Thanks

Well, that’s one way to get the answer — post a “silly” question and right away you’ll find the answer where everyone else already knows it is!! As you can see, I found the flags for my signature. Still want to know about the other questions (double-arrow, TonerTuner)
      Thanks

        Hi Joyce,
Do you mean move a Window on the screen? If so, just left click & hold the title bar then drag where you want it. As far as the toner goes, most Windows drivers for laser printers allow you to select the print quality. That should roughly correspond to the coverage. The driver for a specific printer may allow that setting. It is up to the printer vendor.

Specific terms that come to mind are ‘Economode’ and Draft quality. There may be others.
