      Hi Lance,

Thank you for your excellent article about using OneDrive Personal Vault. What are your thoughts about configuring Personal Vault folders and their content (i.e., all files and subfolders) to always keep a copy on a particular computer by selecting  “Always keep on this device“?

Please note that this feature is available for files in Personal Vault but not folders, so if you want to always keep a copy on a particular computer, you must configure the files individually instead of configuring the folder and having the selection cascade to all files and subfolders within that folder.

I’m not sure if the inability to configure folders in Personal Vault to “Always keep on this device” is by-design” or simply an oversight by Microsoft, but it would be nice if it worked as expected and was consistent with non-Personal Vault folders.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
