GUIDE: Update from Windows 11 22H2 to Windows 11 23H2 on unsupported hardware THE EASY WAY

No need to download Windows 23H2 ISO!

Make sure that you have KB5031455 (Windows 11 Moment 4 Update) installed through Windows Update.

Download & install KB5027397 (Enablement Package) for x64 from here: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/kb5027397-enablement-package-for-windows-11-version-23h2-feature-update.19372/

    Reboot

Congratulations, you have updated to Windows 23H2!

    * individuals who are successfully running 22H2 on incompatible PCs should be able to upgrade.

This is by far the most simple and fast way to upgrade my Windows 11 Pro 22H2 to 23H2.

      Works like a charm.

      Thank you so much.

I cannot use group policy when using Windows 11 Pro 23H2 maybe it is because it is not original.

But I just bought a ZAKU II limited edition pc with original Windows 11 Pro 23H2 and I can use group policy.

“cannot use” meaning? Exact details please.

        cheers, Paul

What I mean is when I ru gpedit it open less then 1 second then it auto close by itself.

When I search group policy it also open less then 1 second the it auto close by itself.

But my new ZAKU II limited edition pc Windows 11 Pro 23H2 is activated with a digital license there is no such issue.

That is odd behaviour. Does anything else on your PC do that?

I would make an image backup and then run the repair commands, after a full virus scan.
      1. Open a Command Prompt as Administrator.
      2. Type: sfc /scannow
      3. Type dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

You may need to run those commands twice to get a clean run.

If the above doesn’t fix the issue then a repair install over the top may solve it.

      cheers, Paul

I already try the method that you have stated but it is still the same.

Anyway I have already bought a ZAKU II limited edition high end gaming pc with original Windows 11 Pro 23H2 for my home and there is no such problem at all.

My old mid end gaming pc I already bring to office and use.

      How to update to 24H2

24H2 hasn’t been released yet to the public and for now is compatible only for Copilot+ PCs running on Qualcomm CPUs.

I really regret going into Windows Insider no matter what I do it still keep on download update. In the end I clean install and finally all the stupid Windows Insider is gone and I am now on Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.2033 stable release verison.
