• Having audio problems on your Win10 PC?

    Has AUDIO on your WINDOWS PC started having any kind of issues?

    When, what version of Win10, and the name of your audio devices, anything you’ve tried that worked?

    Trying to diagnose an uptick in our audio issues recently and see if they’re connected somehow.

    Some interesting responses in the Twitter thread, e.g.:

    Last week my master audio control stopped working. Win10 v2004 but latest update fixed it.

    Headphones only work on my Dell Inspiron 7555 laptop if they are plugged in when I boot up. If I plug in after boot, no dice, speakers work. If I boot up with headphones plugged in, headphones work. Then unplug headphones, speakers come alive. Win 1909 and Realtek audio device.. I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows. Headphones work correctly on Ubuntu. Also, I imaged my SSD over to another laptop, Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series. Same issue on another laptop. So it is clearly driver related.

    Win10 Pro 10.0 18363 I use HDMI audio/video to an AV Receiver and then forward the video on to an HDMI display. After hibernating the PC or sleeping the display, the system thinks everything is fine but no audio actually plays until I power down/up the AVR. Last couple weeks… NVidia RTX 2080 Super is my audio device.

    So how about it? Can anybody here shed any light?
